Benefit appeal service

Specialist assistance to provide help to clients with benefit claims and appeals. Appeals submissions will be prepared and if appropriate representation provided at benefit appeal tribunals.

Welfare rights

It can be difficult to understand what benefits you’re entitled to, how to claim them, and what to do if your benefits are stopped.

Patient advice

Our Patient Advice & Support Service (PASS) has been specially created to offer free, impartial and confidential advice to patients, their carers and families in Scotland.

Money Talk

The Money Talk service can help to maximise income by providing free money and debt advice. We can support to improve the finances of families and those struggling with the increased cost of living. Primarily aimed at families but supporting anyone needing income maximisation and budgeting support.

(SGN) Safe and Warm Project

This service primarily supports clients who are in or supporting someone in hospital.  The project aims to help people to use energy efficiently, affordably and safely as well as providing carbon monoxide awareness. The focus is on energy advice but clients will also be provided with holistic advice and support.  We attend Ninewells Advice Centre every Wednesday.

SSEN Energy Advice Project

This service offers energy efficiency advice and support to reduce fuel poverty in the SSEN distribution area and support vulnerable clients by providing in-depth, holistic and bespoke energy advice to those at risk of fuel poverty.

Homes Dundee Project

Funded by British Gas Energy Trust, this service helps with income maximisation, energy and debt advice. Supporting those with energy issues including dual fuel debt, supplier issues, help registering with Priority Services Register. We help with debt, money and budgeting advice and give support to those with unaffordable debts, including debt options.

VOICE

A partnership project between Dundee Citizens Advice Bureau (DCAB) and Dundee International Women's Centre (DIWC), providing specialist advice and wellbeing support for ethnically diverse women and their families in Dundee.

Energy Debt Advice Project

This service provides energy debt advice, whatever the size of your debt. Our dedicated adviser can help clients understand their bills, manage their income, access grants and set up an affordable payment plan.
